Egg’s own Uncut night serves up a tasty techno treat on April 11th with heavyweights Gaiser, Extrawelt and Gabriel Ananda all lining up. First headliner Gaiser has long been a key player at the Minus label. His abstract soundscapes (such as on last year’s album False Light) feature stunning sound design which is often matched in his live show. Nearly a decade has passed since the electronic music community first heard Gaiser’s name. Needless to say, his talent is continually a force to be reckoned with. Unafraid to experiment with pushing boundaries, Gaiser has kept his eager listeners only guessing at what will come next. Cocoon’s Extrawelt are Arne Schaffhausen and Wayan Raabe, who have been engaged in electronic music since the beginning of the '90s and they still continue succeeding in maxing out this music‘s latitude, shaping their very own and unique style that can hardly be assigned to one of the established subcategories of modern electronic dance music. Revered around the world for their live act and DJ show, tonight will be special indeed. Completing this vast array of techno talent is German Basmati label boss Gabriel Ananda. A talented producer who has turned out tens of EPs, Gabriel knows how to lock in a dance floor like few others.
